Jason Ko has been a part of the Caladan Oceanic team since 2023 and is responsible for advancing the oceanographic mapping efforts of Caladan, in addition to various special projects via a unique blend of operations, technology, and finance/investment management experience.

Jason also serves as Chief Innovation Officer of Total Sand Holdings LLC, where he has led digital transformation and business process improvement since 2017 in the transportation and logistics industry. Previously, he managed technology investments at Longhorn Capital Partners from 2011 to 2017, and investments across multiple asset classes and strategies for a family office of the HL Hunt family from 2009 to 2011. He began his career in sell-side equity research covering the Enterprise Software industry at Banc of America Securities and WR Hambrecht + Co.

Jason received a B.A. in Economics and a Minor in Computer Science from Duke University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
